Uneven steps, or steps without uniform dimension, can be a trip hazard. When your cadence is interupted with steps varying in height or depth, you risk falling. I always document this in reports and state although it could be a safety hazard to some, the client ultimately will be the one deciding how important this is to their household and/or guests.
